Heartland uses a variety of lead sources to provide outbound call campaigns for our financial technology platforms. We automate our solutions, generate lead capture, and real-time lead tracking as well as qualify the leads before providing them to our sales force. Our team enjoys the cleanliness of the sources that we provide and it has provided us with better "up front" qualifications so our team focuses more on closing deals.

You get dedicated support from Lead Liaison when onboarding and they are extremely helpful and patient. I don't know of too many organizations that have this type of dedicated support at the ready. However, on the downside, they seem to be enamored with rolling out updates constantly, and on many occasions, it doesn't seem to have any tangible benefit.
  • Cleaner lead generation, less time "hunting" and more time "closing".
  • Great customer support during implementation.
  • Not integration-friendly had to have Salesforce modifications implemented to connect.

I am not aware of any additional products that were researched or evaluated prior to making the decision to utilize Lead Liaison. From what I understand the individual that was ultimately responsible for choosing to go with Lead Liaison had previously used the product in the past with very good results. We did do beta testing with a small control group with great reviews.

Organizing leads can be really crucial. When it comes to organization, especially with new leads you can obtain information that is more relevant to what you're looking for. There are really cool features when personalizing emails and creating forms. Also, bar code readers are super fast and efficient when it comes to events.

One of the most recent scenarios, when I used Lead Liasion, was when I was in charge of an event. I had to generate multiple emails and many different clients had attended. With Lead Liasion, it was super easy to keep track of each and every one of them and really efficient.

I have not used any other product than Lead Liasion. I just recently started using this product and was not aware of the other options. Either way I am looking forward to seeing how far I am able to succeed using Lead Liasion and will continue to use this platform in the future.

Before choosing Lead Liaison we were already using other platforms for identifying site visitors, managing landing pages and performing email campaigns. But we had no marketing automation tool. The ideal was to have a single platform for identifying site visitors, doing marketing automation, landing pages and email campaigns. Lead Liaison seemed capable of this and was a lower cost than separate platforms.
  • The customer service is very good, it's personal and timely.
  • Onboarding goes the extra mile, they assign you a dedicated person for 3 months.
  • They appear to be continuously adding features to the platform.
  • Sadly the data is bad. Real bad. We had 2600% ROI from a competitor product that only identified visitors by IP address. Where as LeadLiaison (offering this feature plus many others) did not fully give a return on investment in 12 months.
  • The platform is confusing and not cohesive.
  • The platform tries to do many things. They keep rolling out features but do not perfect them.
  • The landing pages features is dreadful and needs to be much stronger for this type of product.
  • The normally friendly face of the company turns against when you wish to cancel and stop using them.
  • The platform is very closed off to integrations in comparisons with other solutions we've evaluated before and since.
  • There is no community support, so all support has to come directly from Lead Liaison. This slows down solving problems even though their support is good. We suffered particularly due to being in a different time zone (we are in the UK).
I think Lead Liaison could work well for new companies without an existing tech stack as you can also use it as your CRM.

For a more mature company, especially one with multiple existing platform, I do not think it is worth switching, as all of the features will likely seem inferior to alternative specialist tools, many of which are cheaper, better supported and better integrated.
  • We have not had a return on investment.
  • The opprotunity cost is estimated to be 10% negative hit on our revenue purely on measurable sales, not including lost time.

We were poached from a competitor where we were getting 2600% ROI. This was a bad business decision on our part. Lead Liaison promised the same level of visitor identification with many more extra features but it never stacked up. After 12 months we actually did not see a return on investment greater than the original investment. Conversely the competitor has seen a 1700% ROI just in month 1 upon returning to them. So having using Lead Forensics before and after using Lead Liaison it's clear what the variable is.

Marketing is now under even more scrutiny for companies wanting the details with campaign and ROI. Many companies are overwhelmed by social media and wondering if it is worth engaging in the conversation. Lead Liaison is my one stop shop to gain insights into how my marketing campaigns, investments and social trends as it relates to our services. Another added benefit is predictive modeling. We now can take the data from tracking in combination of adding a numerical value [which] leads to more understanding of which tactics lead to sales and measure the sales cycle. Those two are Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools for tracking data. Think of them as an excel spreadsheet. Lead Liaison (LL) is a Marketing Automation tool for understanding the behaviors of your current and potential clients relating to your Marketing campaigns. I compare this to a coloring book. LL gives you color or insights into what is working with your campaigns, segmentation, determining the best tactics and Return on Investment (ROI) by tactics. I hope that helps.
Since we are a small group, the Chief Marketing Office, Chief Financial Officer, and our Chief Technology Officer work in Lead Liaison. Everyone has the same dashboards for complete transparency. Everyone can understand the Marketing investment made the outcome. Our Chief Financial Officer loves the Lead Liaison the most. She now understands the correlation between a Marketing dollar invested and the ROI it will provide.
Our Chief Technology Office is the one keeping us on track ensuring we can tie our entire organization has a clear insight into client's and potential client's status. She is the one working with the CRM, Lead Liaison, Accounting and project tracking system are in harmony. We can work towards having the ability to stay ahead of client's needs.

As our discussions grew over a period of time the team did a great job of validating our needs with their capabilities. The product features for the price was a clear advantage. Product Usability was needed with the people using the product were entering into an area that they did not have experience.
There was a slight but definite increase in satisfaction among buyers who used more features at the start of their deployment. This was especially notable because it appears to contradict the popular “crawl-walk-run” approach, in which marketers start with a simple marketing automation deployment and add features over time. We need to do more with Lead Liaison for greater return.

Since we adopted the product during the launch of our business, our adoption was easy. We use the product everyday and work constantly to make sure we know ROI for our campaigns, volume of leads and see the sales cycle process is current. The more we use the product the better we get.

They are quick to understand my request, review the options for solution and deliver the best option with the best outcome. Also, the good part is that I don't need support all the time because the product is so easy.

One item you did not ask, but should be in around customer support. They do a great job of working with you, training and ongoing questions. Lead Liaison is always available and easy to get answers. The dashboards are great to gain business trends. The social media management is easy and a great way to ensure content is being tracked. The ability to gain tracking code for additional tactics. Our team enjoys the easy access and useability. We work with our clients to make sure they have a tool that we can use to scale for their needs. Lead Liaison makes it easy for us to help clients understand that Marketing ROI is closer to their finger tips than ever before.
